What To Expect at a Larry Cohen Seminar

No matter your bridge level, you’re going to learn something...probably A LOT. On his cruises even people with 10,000 points show up to see what he has to say! Larry is great at speaking to people with few points and with a lot of points. He’s one of very few pros who can not only play bridge at a top level but explain it in a way everyone can understand. Larry has over 100 perfected lectures on declarer play, defense, and bidding!

His events are a lot of fun. Larry always injects a lot of humor into his lectures (some planned and some off-the-cuff.) His lectures will not be boring!

He has complete control of the room. You’ll never have a run-away crowd steering the lecture away from the topic.

Larry has his example boards pre-dealt. No having the table making the deals and hearing someone multiple times yell out “wait, what?” These deals really help in learning the subject matter that has been covered. He also uses his inventive plastic guide cards to show the contract and lead! No getting off to a bad start!

Larry provides great take-home workbooks or handouts that match the lesson. All of which are professionally produced. If you keep these and review them, you’ll be surprised how much you learned in just two days!

Larry uses a large projection screen and special Vu-Bridge software to show his deals (all 52 cards and the auction) and talking points. No white board with terrible scribbles! All of his ideas and thoughts are easy to see from any seat in the room!

Larry is not pushy with selling his Books, CD’s, DVD’s or future cruises and seminars!

Larry will be accessible for all of your questions at the end of each day.

Larry teaches logic. It’s an amazing thing to see how his mind (a pro’s mind) moves. In my humble opinion, you should never miss seeing a pro lecture. Especially one that can lecture well. There’s no better bargain than a two-day LC seminar. Not to be missed!

He tells me that the key is in teaching people to think rather than memorize. He likes to say "students won't get left at the station while the train is down the tracks." He is on topic, logical, informative, and entertaining! What more can you ask for?!!

In 2020 Larry was elected to the ACBL Hall of Fame.
