Greetings,
I hope it was a happy holiday season for
all of you.
My friend, Bernie Chazen, has been
hospitlaized. Many of you know
Bernie--one of the most entertaining
bridge teachers on the planet. I filled
in for him on his holiday cruise, and
also will be taking his place at a
LAND SEMINAR in Vero Beach, FL this
month.
Many of you have asked about such land
seminars--please
Let's all wish Bernie well--I hope to do
some in-tandem lectures with him after
he recovers, later this season.
Wishing all of you a healthy year (and
you may as well win a few finesses in
the process). ...

Tournament Report |
An astonishing record in Boston
|

Eric Rodwell had a ridiculous
tournament. All I can do is report the
amazing results.
Well, I can also report on some highly
unusual deals.

Luxury Cruises with Larry
|
Far East and Caribbean
|
Maybe it is cold enough in the
Northern United States to start dreaming
about spending next holiday season on a
luxury cruise from California to Florida?
Or, how about the fall in the Far East?
Even if this isn't for you, I'd appreciate
any word-spreading you can do for me. These
are special cruises with my daily bridge
instruction and duplicate games.

Through the Convention Card
|
Part 13
|
In 2008 we spent each of the 12 months
on the "front" of the convention card.
Now, we move to the back and start to tackle
the large topic of DOUBLES.
This month we focus on the Negative
Double.
