Bridge with Larry Cohen Newsletter
News and articles about bridge
|
|
Greetings!
Please accept my apology for any unwanted intrusion.
Each month, I send a bridge newsletter full of articles
and information about bridge. It is free. No conditions,
advertisers, etc.
If you would prefer not to receive this each month, please
"unsubscribe" below and you will never hear from me again
(unless of course, we run into each other at the bridge
table!).
For the rest of you, I hope you enjoy my articles.
Sincerely,
Larry Cohen

My time at the Nationals in Detroit was cold and depressing (I'm
not blaming the city--there were extenuating circumstances).
However, my partner and I somehow managed to have
the best performance (amongst Americans). We played some
deals that appealed to the teacher in me.

After our 1-of-a-minor Opening
Last month we explored the mysteries of whether to open 1C
or 1D. We continue our series
this month with a look at the follow-ups to Opening
1-of-a-Minor. Our walk through the convention card the "simple
LC" way began this January. You can see all the articles in this

Improve your bidding judgment
Every month, I answer dozens of bidding-panel questions from
around the world.
The most-read is probably "It's Your Call" in the ACBL
Bulletin. ACBL members can participate on-line. To read more

Intermediate level players--join Larry for any of 3 14-day
itineraries in the Far East -- fall, 2009.
This is so new, that there are not even brochures printed
yet. However, I hope people can start spreading the word --and
for now,
e-mail me for more details if interested.
