Cohen Newsletter Happenings in the world of
bridge
Happy New Year to all the regulars, and welcome to new subscribers.
It's a new year, and I have a few new items for you.
First, we begin a series that takes you through the convention card the "Larry
Cohen" way (Keeping It Simple)! Also, this month, I have a report on a wonderful
Nationals in San Francisco.
Through the
Convention Card
1NT
Here we go. This is
the first of who knows how many articles on bidding agreements.
I plan to work my way "through the card" and give you my opinions on
"what to play." My Keep It Simple approach is geared to intermediate-level
players. We start with a very important
section: 1NT.

trying for the 1-2 Punch.

Improve your bidding
There are now more
than 750 deals compiled over the past 15 years. Practice with your partner bidding these
hands.
An Oldie, but
Goodie
Once a year, I send
this article to my mailing list. Many of you joined in 2007, so here is a flashback to my article
about "fighting the LAW."
Many Florida
classes (at land and sea)
There is still time
to sign up for Larry's Florida lectures and cruise. If not for you, please tell interested
friends.
